The waiting period is finally over!
...Almost...
I now know where I am going to spend the next 2 years of my life, which is a huge relief. For someone who likes to make plans so much, it's nice to finally be able to make plans. My parents finally get their wish of having one of their kids become an Aggie. The truth is, I never, ever, thought it would be me. I just hope I don't turn into this kind of fan:
Oh, crazy Wild Bill. The man of many costumes. I fear to meet him, but hope to view his theatrics firsthand.
Seriously, though. Logan was the last place on earth I wanted to live...next to Rexburg. But that's ok. The Lord has a plan and I am happy and excited for this new adventure! :) Go Aggies!!! (I'm SO excited to attend a school that has a real sports program, and I can't wait to cheer at the games!)
The only thing I have left to wait on is whether or not I will get to be a graduate instructor. I find out at the end of the month. Wish me luck! because it will pay for all of my schooling.
So, what have I been doing during this waiting period? Well I...
have been slowly ploughing my way through the Old Testament. This is the hardest book of scripture for me and I've made it to Deuteronomy.
planned many trips. Some realistic. Some definitely not! (Oh, why does my soul long to travel so?)
traced my genealogy line back to Adam on both sides of my family. And not only that, but I found 25 names to do temple work for! Woo-hoo! I have about 7 names I can do baptisms for. Some of the ordinances are only sealings to parents, endowments, etc.
scrap-booked part of my MATS trip. I have two days done. Only 20 more (and 700 pictures) to do!
started an excerise/diet program about 5 different times. And then I lose motivation. And then I find it again. It's a venomous cycle.
researched financial aid, scholarships, housing, activities, etc. for when my graduate life begins.
and started two books: Jane Austen's Emma and The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
So, as you can see, I've accomplished quite a bit the past couple of months! Maybe I should take a little "break" from life every few years. I'd be much more productive!
